PARIS, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Teenager Iga Swiatek became the first Polish player to win a Grand Slam singles title as she beat American fourth seed Sofia Kenin 6-4, 6-1 in women's singles final at Roland Garros on Saturday.
"It is crazy. Two years ago I won a junior Grand Slam and now I'm here. It feels like such a short time. I'm so overwhelmed," added the 2018 Wimbledon junior champion.
